About this screen
Large-cap companies are established businesses with long operating histories, steady access to capital and wide analyst coverage. Together with the mega-caps they make up most of the value of broad indexes such as the S&P 500, and many investors use them as the core of a portfolio because they are liquid and usually less volatile than smaller stocks.
Market-cap tiers are conventions, not official categories: common cutoffs are $200 billion for mega-caps, $10 billion for large caps, $2 billion for mid-caps and $300 million for small caps. Companies move between tiers as their share prices rise and fall. Use the sector and industry filters to narrow the list, and the Dividends tab to find income payers.
Large-Cap Stocks FAQ

What counts as a large-cap stock?
Most index providers and brokers call companies worth about $10 billion or more large caps. Above roughly $200 billion they are often called mega-caps.
