About this screen
Dividends are paid in cash, not in accounting earnings, so many income investors judge dividend safety by free cash flow: operating cash flow minus capital spending. This screen looks for stocks with a dividend yield of at least 3% and a free cash flow yield of at least 6%. When the cash yield is well above the dividend yield, the company generates more cash than it pays out and has room for buybacks, debt reduction or raises.
Results are sorted by free cash flow yield, highest first. The Filters tab shows both yields side by side; the wider the gap, the stronger the cash coverage. Free cash flow can swing from year to year with working capital and investment cycles, so one strong year may overstate coverage. Compare the payout ratio and debt-to-equity before drawing conclusions.
High Free Cash Flow Dividend Stocks FAQ
Which dividend stocks have the most free cash flow?
As of the October 29, 2026 close, 180 stocks with a market cap above $2 billion had a dividend yield of at least 3% and a free cash flow yield of at least 6%. The highest free cash flow yields were Banco Bradesco S.A. (BBD), F&G Annuities & Life, Inc. (FG) and Millrose Properties, Inc. (MRP).
What is free cash flow yield?
Free cash flow yield is trailing twelve-month free cash flow divided by market cap. A company worth $10 billion that generates $800 million of free cash flow has an FCF yield of 8%.
Is free cash flow a better dividend test than earnings?
It is often more reliable, because earnings include non-cash items such as depreciation and write-downs. For capital-intensive companies it also captures the spending needed to keep the business running.
