About this screen

A long record of dividend increases is a sign of steady cash flows and a commitment to returning money to shareholders. Companies with 25 or more years of increases are often called dividend aristocrats; 50 or more years, dividend kings.

Years of growth are counted from the total dividends paid in each complete calendar year, adjusted for stock splits. A year with a special dividend can make the following year look like a cut, so check the company's dividend history for borderline cases.

Dividend Growth Stocks FAQ

Which companies have the longest dividend growth streaks?

As of the October 26, 2026 close, 435 US-listed stocks had raised their yearly dividend for at least 10 consecutive years. The longest records on this list belong to Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), The Coca-Cola Company (KO) and PepsiCo, Inc. (PEP).

What is a dividend aristocrat?

The term usually refers to S&P 500 companies that have increased their dividend for at least 25 consecutive years. Use the "Div. growth years" filter set to 25+ to find companies with a record that long.

Why does dividend growth matter?

A growing dividend raises the income from the same investment every year and can offset inflation. It also tends to show that earnings and cash flow are rising.
