About this screen
A multibagger is a stock that returns several times its original price. The term was popularized by investor Peter Lynch, who used "tenbagger" for a tenfold gain. This list shows companies that have gained 200% or more in three years, which means each dollar invested three years ago is now worth at least three, before dividends.
Large gains come from two sources: growing earnings and a rising valuation multiple. Compare 3-year revenue and EPS growth in the Growth tab with the P/E and price-to-sales ratios in the Valuation tab. A run driven mostly by multiple expansion depends on enthusiasm continuing, while one backed by steady earnings growth rests on firmer ground.
Multibagger Stocks: 3-Year Winners FAQ
Which stocks have tripled in the last three years?
As of the October 29, 2026 close, 301 US-listed stocks with a market cap above $1 billion had risen 200% or more over three years. The biggest gains were at SELLAS Life Sciences Group, Inc. (SLS), Rigetti Computing, Inc. (RGTI) and Almonty Industries Inc. Common Shares (ALM).
What is a multibagger stock?
It is a stock that rises to several times its purchase price. A two-bagger has doubled, a three-bagger has tripled and a tenbagger has risen tenfold.
Why does a 200% gain mean the stock tripled?
A gain of 200% adds twice the original price to the starting price. A stock that goes from $10 to $30 is up 200% and is worth three times as much.
