About this screen
To receive an upcoming dividend, you must own the stock before its ex-dividend date. Buying on or after that date means the payment goes to the seller instead. This list shows stocks yielding at least 2% whose ex-dividend date falls in the next seven days, which makes it useful for planning purchases, checking when income will arrive, or understanding why a stock opened lower by roughly the dividend amount.
The page summary is regenerated weekly, while the live table below refreshes after every trading session, so the two can differ. Sorting by ex-dividend date puts the nearest first. Buying just before the ex-date to capture a dividend rarely works on its own, because the share price usually drops by about the dividend amount when the stock goes ex. Check the payment date in the company's announcement.

What is the ex-dividend date?
It is the first trading day on which a buyer of the stock is no longer entitled to the next dividend. Under the US one-day settlement cycle, the ex-dividend date and the record date are normally the same day.
Does a stock fall on the ex-dividend date?
Usually, yes. At the open the price tends to drop by about the amount of the dividend, because new buyers will not receive it. Other market moves on the same day can hide or exaggerate the effect.
