Screening criteria
- P/E ratio (trailing twelve months) of 15 or less
- PEG ratio of 1 or less
- Upside to the average analyst price target of 20% or more
- Market cap of $2 billion or more

About this screen
There is no single measure of undervaluation, so this screen combines three. A P/E of 15 or less shows the stock is cheap relative to current profits. A PEG of 1 or less shows the price is reasonable relative to expected earnings growth. Analyst upside of 20% or more shows that the professionals covering the stock see room for it to rise. Requiring all three avoids the classic trap of buying a low P/E stock whose earnings are shrinking.
Results are sorted by upside to the price target. Analyst targets tend to lag price moves and are often optimistic, so treat upside as one input rather than a forecast. The Filters tab shows all four criteria. Compare the number of analysts in the Analysts tab, since a target from a single analyst carries little weight, and check forward P/E for a view of next year.
Undervalued Stocks FAQ
Which stocks look undervalued right now?
As of the October 29, 2026 close, 64 stocks with a market cap above $2 billion had a P/E of 15 or less, a PEG of 1 or less and analyst upside of at least 20%. The largest upside to price targets was at LKQ Corporation (LKQ), Century Aluminum Company (CENX) and Banco Macro S.A. (BMA).
How do you tell if a stock is undervalued?
Investors compare the price with earnings, cash flow, assets and growth, both against the company's own history and against peers. A stock that looks cheap on several measures at once is more likely to be genuinely undervalued than one that looks cheap on just one.
What is the PEG ratio?
PEG is the P/E ratio divided by the expected annual earnings growth rate. A company with a P/E of 15 and 15% expected growth has a PEG of 1. Values below 1 suggest the price is low relative to growth.
