About this screen
Enterprise value adds debt to market cap and subtracts cash, giving the price an acquirer would effectively pay for the whole business. EBITDA is earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, a rough proxy for operating cash profit. Dividing one by the other gives a valuation multiple that is neutral to capital structure, which makes it better than P/E for comparing companies with very different amounts of debt.
Results are sorted from the lowest multiple. EBITDA ignores capital spending, so capital-intensive businesses such as telecoms, energy and manufacturing can look cheaper on this measure than they are. Compare the free cash flow yield in the Valuation tab. Banks and insurers are usually missing because EBITDA is not meaningful for financial companies, and negative ratios are left blank.
Low EV/EBITDA Stocks FAQ
Which stocks have the lowest EV/EBITDA ratios?
As of the October 29, 2026 close, 369 stocks with a market cap above $1 billion had an EV/EBITDA ratio of 8 or less. The lowest ratios were Inhibrx, Inc. (INBX), Zymeworks Inc. (ZYME) and Damora Therapeutics, Inc. (DMRA).
What is a good EV/EBITDA ratio?
It varies by industry, but ratios below 10 are generally considered reasonable and below 8 inexpensive. Fast-growing technology companies often trade far higher, while mature industrial and energy businesses tend to trade lower.
Why use EV/EBITDA instead of P/E?
P/E is affected by debt, interest costs, tax rates and depreciation policies, which differ between companies. EV/EBITDA strips these out, so it is commonly used in mergers and to compare companies across countries and capital structures.
