Using your key

            
Add api_token=YOUR_KEY to the query string of any request:

            
https://api.quotelinks.com/v1/fx/latest?base=USD&api_token=YOUR_KEY
https://api.quotelinks.com/v1/financials/AAPL?api_token=YOUR_KEY

            
Leave api_token out and the request is anonymous. A wrong or revoked key gets HTTP 401.

Do I need an API key?
No. Requests without a key work at up to 2 requests per second per IP address. A key raises the limit to 10 requests per second.

            
I lost my API key. What can I do?
Create a new key here, or e-mail support@quotelinks.com from the address you signed up with and we will send the key to that address.

            
Can I use the key in browser JavaScript?
Yes, but anyone can see it in your page source. That is fine for personal projects; if a key is misused, we may revoke it.

            
Can I use the APIs commercially?
No. The APIs are for personal, non-commercial use. For commercial use, contact support@quotelinks.com.
