Fluor's Mission Solutions segment specializes in delivering technical solutions to governmental entities, particularly in the U.S., focusing on nuclear security, nuclear waste management, laboratory management, and operation and maintenance of mission-critical facilities for U.S. military organizations. It also provides environmental remediation, site management, and decommissioning services for nuclear remediation at governmental facilities and commercial nuclear clients. The company, founded in 1912 and headquartered in Irving, Texas, also engages in research, development, licensing, and commercialization of small modular nuclear reactor technology through its Other segment, alongside offering unionized management and construction services.
