Wrapped TRON (WTRX) serves as a derivative of TRON that finds extensive utility across numerous decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, catering to various needs such as liquidity provision, token swaps, margin trading, and other financial activities.

WTRX is specifically designed as a wrapped token representing TRON (TRX) on the Ethereum network. Wrapped tokens maintain a 1:1 peg with their underlying asset, enabling seamless access to different blockchain ecosystems without requiring conversion of the original tokens. For instance, by converting TRX into WTRX, users can leverage Ethereum-based DeFi platforms using WTRX as an ERC-20 token, thereby enjoying the benefits of both networks while retaining exposure to their original assets.
