What you'll find
- Stock pages for US-listed companies. Each company has an overview with the latest quote, an interactive price chart, an income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement, key metrics, dividend history, analyst forecasts, ownership data and recent news. Start at all stocks or search for a symbol at the top of any page.
- ETF pages with fund facts, expense ratio, holdings, sector weights, distributions and performance. See all ETFs.
- Screeners: a stock screener and an ETF screener with dozens of filters (valuation, dividends, growth, profitability, performance, risk and technicals), plus ready-made screens such as dividend growth stocks or low-cost ETFs.
- Delisted stocks: pages for US stocks delisted in the last five years, including what happened to each company (acquired, taken private, merged, renamed or bankrupt) and a link to the acquirer or new ticker where one exists. See delisted stocks.
- Market lists: index components (Dow 30, Nasdaq-100, S&P 500, Russell 2000 and more), the 11 market sectors (for example technology stocks), and complete exchange lists.
- Crypto: quotes and charts for major cryptocurrencies.
- Learning: a stock market dictionary that explains financial terms in plain language.
Where the data comes from
- EOD Historical Data (EODHD) supplies end-of-day and historical prices, company fundamentals, financial statements, dividends, splits, ETF data and analyst estimates.
- IEX (Investors Exchange) supplies the real-time prices shown during regular US market hours. These are last-sale prices from IEX only, so they can differ slightly from the consolidated price your broker shows. When an IEX price is not available, a delayed quote is shown instead.
- CoinMarketCap supplies cryptocurrency prices, market caps, 24-hour change and volume, refreshed every few minutes. Crypto price history comes from EODHD.
- News headlines link to the original publishers.
- Charts are drawn with the open-source Lightweight Charts™ library by TradingView.
Company filings are the original source of financial statement data. Figures can be restated by the company or revised by the data provider, so for anything important please check the company's filings on SEC EDGAR.
How often data is updated
- Quotes: real-time (IEX) during regular market hours, delayed or end-of-day at other times.
- Prices, performance and screener data: updated after the close of every US trading day.
- Financial statements and fundamentals: refreshed after companies report their quarterly results.
- ETF fund data (holdings, expense ratios, allocations): refreshed about once a month.
- Index and sector membership: updated periodically from published index holdings.
How figures are calculated
Most numbers are shown as reported by the data provider. A few are calculated by Quotelinks, and the screeners use these definitions:
- Years of dividend growth: the number of consecutive calendar years in which total dividends were higher than the year before. Special and partial payments are excluded, so a single extra payment doesn't count as a raise or a cut.
- Dividend yield (TTM): dividends paid over the last twelve months divided by the latest price.
- Return on equity: not shown when shareholder equity is zero or negative, because the ratio isn't meaningful then.
- ETF categories (asset class, strategy, bond type and leverage) are assigned by Quotelinks from each fund's name and reported asset allocation. They are a guide, not an official classification.
- Delisting outcomes (acquired, taken private, merged and so on) were researched company by company from public announcements.

Because prices and figures change daily, please include the date you accessed the page. Researchers who need long historical series or bulk data should use a dedicated data service. We are happy to point you in the right direction: just email us.
For website owners
Free stock widgets (stock quote cards, a ticker tape and market movers) let you add market data to any website with a single line of code. The widget code is open source on GitHub.
