About the OTC Markets

Most U.S. over-the-counter trading takes place on markets run by OTC Markets Group, which sorts companies into tiers by how much information they disclose: OTCQX, the top tier for established companies; OTCQB, the venture market for early-stage companies; and OTC Pink, the open market with the fewest requirements.

OTC stocks include small companies that do not meet exchange listing standards, companies that left an exchange, and large foreign companies whose shares trade in the U.S. without a full listing. Trading is often thin, price quotes can be wide, and companies may report less information than exchange-listed ones, so OTC stocks can carry more risk.

This list includes the OTC common stocks that have a quote page on Quotelinks, not every security quoted over the counter.
